St. Clair County International Airport -- St. Clair County International Airport, located in Kimball, has provided commercial corporate and general aviation services for over 55 years. United States Customs and Border Protection and the Department of Agriculture are available 24 hours for Customs and Trans-Atlantic flights into the United States. The airport is equipped with Pilot Controlled Lighting, Automated Weather Observation System and an Instrument Landing System. The airport is open 24 hours for the ease of our corporate, cargo, medivac/lifeline and private customers. The airport terminal office is open from 8:00AM-5:00PM. Enhancements to the Airport Industrial park in 2007 and going into 2008 include improved landscaping, freshly paved roads and improved sewer connections that make it easier for large manufacturers to locate within the park.
St. Clair River -- St. Clair County is in the lower thumb area of Michigan and borders Lake Huron. The St. Clair River is all that separates it from Canada. Much of the county's labor force and economic activity are along the coast of the river. The St. Clair River coast is lined with many harbors, river walks and boat launches for recreation and travel. The county is very appreciative of this natural resources and takes care to make sure it is preserved and used to its best potential.
